Disneyland’s newest experience gives guests the unique opportunity to be inside the park before it officially opens and stretch their muscles before a long day.

Starting April 1, overnight guests at any Disneyland hotel – the Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa – can take yoga classes inside Disneyland or Disney California Adventure on select days.

Ready to limber up and have Disneyland practically all to yourself? Here are all the details on Disneyland’s new in-park yoga classes as well as other fitness offerings inside and outside the park.

Sunrise yoga at Disneyland is designed for all skill levels, whether you are an experienced yogi or a beginner. The location of the classes is determined by the park’s schedule for the day but includes locations like the Space Mountain concourse in Tomorrowland.

No matter where the class is, you’ll have the rare opportunity to watch the sun rise over a nearly empty park while you center your mind and body. Don’t worry: The classes occur early, so you’ll have time to head back to your hotel, change and eat breakfast before returning for a day in the park.

Yoga mats are provided during class, and the class concludes with light snacks and a bottle of water. You’ll also receive a digital photo download and a towel to commemorate your experience.

Classes occur on select dates and cost $89 per person; advance reservations are required. You can make reservations through the Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel.

You also have the option to take a soothing yoga class at Disney California Adventure in the early morning hours before the park opens to regular guests. Classes may be held in various park areas, including the nature-inspired Redwood Creek area.

In addition to traditional yoga flows, this class incorporates a meditation with peaceful sounds and imagery to help any vacation stress melt away. The class is designed for all fitness levels and includes use of a yoga mat during the session.

Classes occur on select dates and cost $30 per person; advance reservations are required. You can reserve a spot through the Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel.

Additional fitness classes at Disneyland

If yoga isn’t your workout of choice, Disneyland offers a variety of other fitness classes inside the parks and at its hotels.

Additional classes include paddleboard fitness at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa pool, tai chi or a gentle stretching class in the Eureka Fitness Center at Disney’s Grand California Hotel and Spa, and a high-intensity boot camp or early morning power walk at Disney California Adventure.

The classes last 30 to 45 minutes, and prices range from $25 to $30.

Bottom line

Reservations are required for all fitness classes, and you can reserve online, by phone or by visiting Tenaya Stone Spa in person. Classes held in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure don’t include park admission, and participants will need to exit the park at the end of class.

All classes are for adults 18 or older. Guests 14 to 17 can participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian and with written consent.
