Booking last-minute holiday travel? Make sure you click through the TopCashBack shopping portal first.
Right now, the cash back shopping portal is offering increased earning rates at many travel brands. In some cases, you’ll earn up to 15% back on your purchases. You can redeem cash back earned through PayPal or an ACH transfer to your bank account. You can also elect to redeem your earnings as a gift card and receive up to a 5% bonus on your cash back.
Let’s take a closer look at what travel merchants are offering increased earning at TopCashBack.
Earn up to 15% on hotel stays
On the hotel side, you can earn 15% on IHG Hotels and Resorts bookings. TopCashBack specifically states that InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, EVEN Hotels, Hotel Indigo, Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites and Avid Hotels properties are eligible for earning. Meanwhile, it states that Kimpton (in North and South America), Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Six Senses, Army Hotels and all hotels in Israel are excluded from earning.

Additionally, some IHG brands are offering up to 15.75% cash back if you click through their individual listings on TopCashBack.

Meanwhile, Accor is offering up to 6.3% cash back on some stays. Fairmont, Raffles and Swissotel stays earn 3.15% while other brands earn the higher 6.3% rate.

You can also earn 5.25% cash back on Best Western bookings.

Finally, Radisson Hotels is offering 8.4% cash back on international hotel stays. Note that this does not include hotels in the Americas, as these are now a part of Radisson Hotels Americas.

If you already have a hotel booked with one of these hotel groups, see if it makes sense to cancel and rebook your current reservation. This makes sense if you can cancel your current stay without penalty and if rates are similar (or lower, if you’re lucky) to what you originally booked.

Save on rental cars with TopCashBack

There are also a handful of increased rental car earnings on TopCashBack. Most notably, you can earn 10.5% cash back with Dollar Rent-a-Car. This is double the portal’s normal rate of 5.25% cash back on Dollar rentals.

Additionally, TopCashBack is offering 8.4% cash back on Thrifty rentals.

Finally, TopCashBack is offering 7.35% cash back on Europcar rentals in the U.K., U.S., France, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.

Other brands are offering increased cash back, too. For example, Hertz, Alamo and Fox are each offering 5.25% cash back on rentals. Just make sure to review the terms and conditions of each offer to ensure your rental is eligible to earn cash back through TopCashBack.

Regardless of where you rent, make sure to charge your rental car to a credit card that offers a rental car damage waiver. This effectively covers any damage incurred to a rental car, so you don’t have to claim it on your car insurance. Plus, you can save money by not purchasing a damage waiver from the rental car company. Be sure to carefully review your credit card’s insurance policy to know what is and isn’t covered.
